Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone therapy involves the use of smooth, heated lava stones applied to the body using long, flowing massage strokes.
Deep heat from the stones allows muscle tissue to soften and relax, improving the overall benefits of the massage. The natural healing properties of the stones aid in the removal of toxins and clients often experience a state of peacefulness during hot stone treatments.

Lymphatic Drainage
The lymphatic system helps your immune system in the detoxification
process. It transports and cleans waste, dead blood cells, cancer cells
as well as bacteria and viruses. Lymphedema occurs when the lymph is
unable to drain properly from the affected tissues causing swelling or
edema. Manual lymph drainage (MLD) is a gentle massage technique that
stimulates lymph and fluid drainage accelerating the healin gprocess and
improving the immune system. Consider this treatment if you have
swelling due to injury, surgery, diabetes or cancer treatment. MLD will
help decrease the swelling, reduce edema, and ease that 'heavy'
feeling.
Compression therapy may also be part of the MLD treatment. Used in
conjunction with Lymphatic Drainage, the application of short stretch
bandages and compression garments will help control the swelling between
treatments.
60 min - $90, 90 min - $130 (Cost of compression garments and bandages extra)

Are your feet excessively dry?
Then why not compliment your reflexology session with a Paraffin Treatment!
Paraffin Wax
Paraffin Wax is another thermal modality which can be used for deep heat penetration in areas that suffer from extremely dry skin, arthritis or surgical scarring.
Paraffin in liquid (melted) form retains heat from the melting process and transfers this heat into an affected area or limb as it cools or solidifies. This comforting paraffin coating is then easily removed after all the heat has transferred and product has stabilized to body temperature.
Paraffin is known to:
- Soothe chronic arthritis joint pain
- Relax stiff muscles
- Increase range of motion
- Relieve dryness from repeated washing
$15 per application
Paraffin can be combined with any massage therapy treatment or booked as an individual session and is one of the most effective methods of applying deep heat to relieve pain and stiffness.
Thermal Ultrasound
This thermal modality uses heat waves to reach deep problem areas and soften tissue to increase the benefits of the massage treatment. Soft tissue injury, joint dysfunction and pain can be treated with thermal ultrasound. This form of ultrasound is effective at increasing temperature at collagen tissue depth without overheating skin and other overlying tissues.
Therapeutic effects of ultrasound include:
- spasm reduction
- pain relief
- chronic inflammation

Cupping Therapy
Cupping Therapy involves the application of suction cups to the skin. The air inside the cup is heated and the rim is then applied to the skin forming an airtight seal. As the air inside the cup cools, it contracts, forming a vacuum and enabling the cup to suck the skin, pulling in the soft tissue and drawing blood into that area. Cupping is an ancient form of deep tissue massage and is very useful and safe. There is a possiblity that it may leave red, bruised marks on the skin.
Cupping therapy will be incorporated into your massage treatment, so there is no additional charge. Your therapist will discuss the specifics with you prior to your treatment.
